About the role

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our Oakridge Villas Care home in Kerikeri, Northland. On offer is a 37.5 hour a week role. Candidates must be available to work mixed shifts and on weekends.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
  • Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
  • Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

  • Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate.
  • Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
  • InterRai qualified is desirable.
  • Up to date knowledge of wound care management.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
