About the role
We are looking for a fabulous Café Assistant to work in our stunning new Retirement Village – Ōtau Ridge in Clevedon. You will provide Barista and Café services in our established café. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will be providing exceptional service to our Residents, their family and friends, while also helping provide a great dining experience!
Shift schedule
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9.30am to 1.30pm = 12hrs week. You must be available to work both weekend days. There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.
Responsibilities
- Taking food and beverage orders from our residents, visitors and staff
- Making amazing cups of coffee (semi-automatic machine)
- Serving and collecting meals in our café
- Assisting the Cook with food prep in the Kitchen
- General cleaning including café equipment and washing up in the kitchen
About you
You have exceptional presentation, customer service skills, a vibrant and welcoming personality and enjoy giving service with a smile. Some qualities that will support your application include:
