About the Opportunity
MetLife UK is seeking a graduate to join our Graduate Training Program to fill the role of Business System Analyst (BSA) intern.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise between the business and technical teams.
- Gather, review, analyse and evaluate end-user needs and develop functional requirements and functional design documentation.
- BSA Interns may gain exposure to the following, depending on their specified role and team:
- Requirements gathering processes
- Software development life cycle
- Business process and use case modelling
- System testing
- IT standards, procedures, and policies
- Technical writing/documentation
- IT project management
Required Qualifications
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Preference will be given to students academically involved in computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, mathematics, business administration, or related fields.
- Able to commit to a 12-month internship (with potential for extension or graduate opportunities).
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Relevant campus involvement, work experience, and/or community service experience.
- Working understanding of AI concepts.
- Understanding of database design.
- Insurance knowledge.
