MetLife UK is seeking a graduate to join our Graduate Training Program to fill the role of Business System Analyst (BSA) intern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise between the business and technical teams.
  • Gather, review, analyse and evaluate end-user needs.
  • Gather and develop functional requirements and functional design documentation.
  • BSA Interns may gain exposure to the following, depending on their specified role and team:
  • Requirements gathering processes
  • Business process and use case modelling
  • System testing
  • Technical writing/documentation
  • IT project management

Required Qualifications

  • Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Preference will be given to students academically involved in computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, mathematics, business administration, or related fields.
  • Able to commit to a 12-month Internship (with potential for extension or graduate opportunities).
  • Able to work from our Brighton HQ daily during training, then revert to our hybrid working arrangements, 2 days in the office.

  • Strong technical curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Relevant campus involvement, work experience, and/or community service experience.
  • Working understanding of AI concepts.
  • Understanding of database design.
  • Insurance knowledge.
