The Field Account Manager – Individual Protection (IP) will represent Met Life in the field, delivering high-impact engagement with advisers, networks, and partners across the UK Individual Protection market.

By strengthening and deepening relationships with key accounts through regular in-person meetings, presentations, and event support you will contribute to the success and growth of the UK IP business.

Leverage strong market knowledge to position Met Life effectively and respond to partner needs and competitive dynamics.

Represent Met Life at industry events, conferences, and network forums to enhance brand presence and identify opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver regular face-to-face engagement with advisers, firms, and networks across assigned regions and accounts.
  • Conduct high-quality presentations, training sessions, and account reviews tailored to partner needs.
  • Represent Met Life at industry and network events, including manning stands and hosting sessions.
  • Support Strategic Account Managers in executing account plans and strengthening relationships.
  • Partner with Account Executives to ensure consistent messaging and maximise opportunity conversion.
  • Identify and lift new business opportunities, risks, and competitor activity.
  • Build strong adviser relationships to drive product understanding and sales growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and feedback insights into the wider team.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Experience in a field-based sales or account management role within Financial Services
  • Strong understanding of UK intermediary distribution including networks and directly authorised firms.
  • Proven track record in presentations and relationship management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field, strategic, and telephony-based roles.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management capability.
  • Good commercial awareness and market knowledge.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated with ability to manage travel.
  • Professional, proactive, and results-focused approach.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Able and willing to work in a field-based role, UK wide, attending an onsite office (Brighton) day once a month.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced gained from the UK Insurance Protection market.

“The expected salary range for this position is £35200 - £47000.

This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation under the sales plan for the position.

All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.”
