We are currently looking for aWarehouse Coordinator to support our EGL1 site execution team within the Grid & Digital Solutions department of the Thermal Power Plants & HVDC division of Metlen, based in Torness, Scotland, UK .

What your role will encompass:

  • Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate recording of inbound and outbound materials within warehouse systems.
  • Maintain inventory control, stock levels, and material traceability.
  • Perform regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and dispatches in line with project requirements and construction schedules.
  • Ensure correct labeling, storage conditions, and segregation of materials.
  • Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, and Site Construction teams regarding material availability, shortages, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, warehouse safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse facilities at all times.
  • Support audits, inspections, and reporting activities related to warehouse and inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit warehouse reports as required by project management.

What you bring to the role:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or material control, preferably within construction, EPC, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Previous experience supporting large-scale site-based projects is highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and external suppliers.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
