The role will support the construction execution of HVDC projects, contributing to delivery in line with project objectives, contractual requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, budget, and schedule.
Your Role Will Encompass:
- Support the construction execution of HVDC projects from initiation through to completion.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and high‑voltage systems.
- Assist in maintaining project governance processes, including contracts, technical documentation, change management, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to reporting on project progress, risks, cost performance, and mitigation actions.
- Support communication with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to help resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and quality standards in line with HVDC and high‑voltage construction requirements.
- Work closely with site teams to support supervision, resource planning, and performance tracking.
- Participate in inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Help identify project risks and contribute to mitigation actions to support successful delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Around 6–10 years’ professional experience in EPC project environments, preferably within the energy sector and HV or HVDC projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
- Experience in HVDC projects, converter stations, or high‑voltage infrastructure is desirable.
- Good understanding of project management principles, contract management, cost control, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) will be considered an asset.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
- Availability to work on site and willingness to travel in line with project requirements.
