Your role will encompass:
- Supervise electrical subcontractors during installation of LV/MV cables, panels, switchgear, transformers, and inverter systems.
- Verify cable routing, segregation, terminations, earthing, and bonding in compliance with technical standards.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, SLDs, and installation details.
- Support testing, inspections, insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and commissioning preparation.
- Coordinate electrical activities with civil and mechanical teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor subcontractor productivity, daily progress, project delays, and risk mitigation actions.
- Maintain quality records, testing documentation, and corrective action tracking.
- Support energisation, pre-commissioning, and final handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe systems.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience supervising and coordinating electrical installation works within construction and renewable energy projects.
- Experience in subcontractor management, commissioning support, and electrical site execution.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, including cabling, terminations, switchgear, transformers, inverters, earthing, and grid infrastructure.
- Familiarity with electrical installation, commissioning, QA/QC processes, and testing procedures.
- Understanding of IET Wiring Regulations, G99/G100 standards, and industry compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret cable schedules, technical drawings, SLDs, and electrical documentation.
- Experience coordinating electrical activities with civil and mechanical teams in fast-paced site environments.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills under site pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and strong commitment to quality, safety, RAMS, and project delivery.
