Responsibilities
- Support mechanical construction activities on site, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, and subcontractors to support the planning and execution of mechanical installations.
- Perform regular inspections and quality checks to ensure works are carried out in line with project and industry standards.
- Identify and support the resolution of mechanical issues arising during construction.
- Collaborate with the design team during the pre‑construction phase, providing input on mechanical systems where required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of mechanical works performed on site.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture across site activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical erection works or maintenance, preferably within heavy industrial environments such as power plants, refineries, CCGT, HVAC, or broader energy projects.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and civil construction drawings, procedures, and specifications.
- Fluency in English.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural project teams.
