As part of METLEN's continued growth across Europe, we are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our EPC Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business across West Europe. Reporting to the Regional Head of EPC Commercial and Performance, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and leading regional tendering and business development activities. You will work closely with country teams, engineering, procurement, legal, and project delivery functions to secure and deliver high-value renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new EPC opportunities across West Europe.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, developers, and strategic partners.
  • Lead and oversee EPC tender activities across multiple countries.
  • Define bid strategies, pricing approaches, and commercial risk assessments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and compliant proposals.
  • Support client negotiations and contract discussions throughout the tender process.
  • Monitor market trends, project pipelines, and competitor activity across the Solar PV and BESS sectors.
  • Collaborate with country management teams to align business development objectives with project delivery capabilities.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven business development, commercial, or tender management experience within the renewable energy, EPC, infrastructure, or power sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Solar PV and/or BESS markets.
  • Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and tender processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages, particularly German, are advantageous.
