We are currently looking for a

Civil Construction Manager to join the Grid & Digital Solutions department, as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, for the EGL1 Project, based in Torness.

Your Role

  • Lead civil construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and change orders.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, including progress, budget adherence, and any issues.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure construction meets specified standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and inspections of project deliverables.

What you bring to the role

  • 10+ years of experience in managing EPC projects.
  • University degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Certification in Project Management will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English language.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.
