Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)

The Opportunity

I'm currently working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to strengthen its Planning team in Leeds. This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced Project Planner looking to step into a Senior role, or someone who has recently become a Senior Project Planner and wants to continue developing within a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll work closely with an experienced leadership team, gaining direct exposure to key decision-makers while delivering planning support across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure and engineering projects. This isn't a role where you'll get lost in a large team. You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, develop your technical and stakeholder management skills, and play an important part in the continued growth of the Leeds office.

The Role

As a Project Planner / Senior Project Planner, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes across a variety of complex engineering and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining project programmes using Primavera P6.
  • Producing programme updates, reporting and progress analysis.
  • Carrying out critical path analysis and identifying programme risks.
  • Supporting Project Managers and multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality planning solutions.
  • Providing planning expertise across a diverse range of infrastructure projects.
  • Contributing to the continued development and growth of the Planning team.
