We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Vice President to join our Investor Relations team in London. This is a high-impact role at a leading global hedge fund, offering direct exposure to senior leadership, institutional investors, and sophisticated investment strategies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing investor relationships, supporting capital raising initiatives, and shaping the firm’s external messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.
- Support capital raising efforts through the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, and due diligence responses.
- Coordinate and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and global conferences.
- Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s investment strategies to effectively communicate performance, positioning, and risk.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, senior leadership, and internal teams (legal, compliance, finance).
- Manage investor reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform investor communications and strategy.
- Maintain CRM systems and investor databases.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, hedge fund strategies, and portfolio analytics.
- Proven experience interacting with institutional investors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
