We are partnering with one of our long-standing clients, a leading real estate lending platform, who is looking to hire a VP to join their team in London. Following strong deal flow in H1, the team is looking to build on this momentum and deploy further capital through H2.
The role will offer the opportunity to work across the full lending cycle, from origination and underwriting through to execution and portfolio management, with significant exposure to senior decision-makers and borrowers.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of relevant experience within real estate debt, ideally in a current lending/origination role or a reputable structured finance team
- Strong experience across underwriting, financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction execution
- Proven exposure to real estate lending transactions across the UK market
- A strong understanding of real estate fundamentals and credit risk
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial team
- Be based in London or willing to relocate
