An established elite boutique investment banking firm headquartered in London, with deep expertise in the power, renewables and energy transition sector, is seeking both a VP and Associate to join its M&A team. The franchise is on a strong growth trajectory and boasts a good transaction pipeline having made budget for the year already.
You will play a vital role in executing strategic transactions that support the growth and development of clients (developers, IPP's and infrastructure and energy funds) operating in the energy transition ecosystem. You will work on complex cross-border deals spanning acquisitions, divestments, strategic partnerships, and structured equity solutions.
Candidate Profile
- 3–9 years of relevant experience in investment banking (M&A advisory), corporate finance, or private equity with relevant sector experience (e.g. Power, Energy Renewables, Infrastructure etc.)
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving proficiency
- Effective and confident communicator
- Motivated, flexible, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent academic credentials
