Our client is a dynamic investment and advisory firm with an entrepreneurial culture. The team executes and advises on transactions across multiple industries, with recent activity in technology, media, healthcare, industrials, and payments. The group operates with a lean structure and is looking to add a Senior Analyst or Associate, offering meaningful responsibility, direct senior exposure, and the chance to take ownership from day one.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in origination, investment assessment, and transaction execution, contributing across the full deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Investment Assessment & Due Diligence
- Lead or support evaluation of potential investments across core sectors, developing investment cases and financial analyses.
- Guide and review financial models and valuations, including DCF, LBO, and comparable approaches.
- Build sector insights through market research, competitive benchmarking, and thematic analysis.
- Manage or coordinate due diligence processes, working closely with external advisers to assess risks and value drivers.
- Deal Sourcing & Execution
- Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
- Take an active role in transaction structuring, negotiations, and execution.
- Prepare materials for Investment Committee, articulating thesis, risk considerations, and value-creation strategies.
- Market Coverage & Opportunity Development
- Track sector trends and identify potential opportunities through proactive research and networking.
- Approximately 2–5 years’ experience in investment banking or private equity.
- Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
- Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
- Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable working in small teams.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are beneficial but not essential.
