Metis Search are currently partnered with a dynamic Technology/Tech-enabled company looking to build their Corporate Development practice in London. This is an opportunity to join a growing company, working on organic & inorganic growth projects, managing stakeholders, developing and implementing strategy plans.
This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct exposure to the C-level, and the chance to take ownership of the company's strategy moving forward.
Responsibilities:- Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic acquisitions and inorganic growth initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end transaction execution, including origination, valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, signing, closing, and integration.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and deliver the company’s long‑term growth and corporate development strategy.
- Analyze & map market trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple priorities and deal timelines.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance culture focused on growth, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience within M&A, corporate development, investment banking, corporate finance or private equity.
- Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
- Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
- Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable in working autonomously & in a team.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Highly relationship-driven with strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
- Experience in Tech/Tech‑Enabled Services is beneficial but not necessary.
