Metis Search are currently partnered with a Bulge-Bracket Investment bank who are looking to add individuals in to their FIG team in London.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the FIG space.
  • Produce financial models and valuations, including DDM, LBO, and comparable approaches.
  • Prepare high-quality client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials.
  • Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
  • Manage or conducting financial and commercial due diligence processes, working closely with external advisers to assess risks and value drivers.
  • Working on strategic advisory and transaction execution & managing workstreams.
  • Candidate Profile
  • Approximately 2.5 - 7 years experience in M&A within FIG Investment banking
  • Exposure across Banks, Asset and Wealth Management or Insurance
  • Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
  • Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
  • Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable working in small teams.
  • Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
