I am working with a leading global investment bank looking to add an Associate to their EMEA Healthcare team. The platform is widely regarded for delivering high-impact strategic advisory across complex domestic and cross-border transactions, advising corporates, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors across a broad range of sectors. The team is their most profitable team in EMEA.
Key responsibilities:
- Integral role in the execution of UK and European M&A transactions across the Healthcare space
- Lead financial analysis and valuation workstreams including DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
- Prepare high-quality client presentations and materials for internal valuation and approval processes
- Coordinate deal execution processes, including documentation and stakeholder management
- Work on public and private M&A transactions, including bid defence situations
- Review and oversee analysts' financial models and materials, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Engage directly with senior bankers and clients throughout live mandates
Requirements:
- 3+ years of investment banking experience in M&A from a Bulge Bracket or Mid Market investment bank with strong transaction experience
- Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise
- Experience working on UK and European transactions
- Healthcare sector experience is a pre-requisite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong project management and multitasking capability
- High academic achievement and a strong analytical mindset
