Senior Consultant – Hedge Funds at Metis Search

I’m currently partnering with a leading global systematic hedge fund to help them hire a Client Services Associate into their Investor Relations function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high‑calibre individual with around 2-6 years of experience in a client‑facing role, ideally within a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment bank.

This firm is widely recognised for its performance, culture, and innovation in quantitative investing. The environment is fast‑paced but highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on precision, communication, and delivering best‑in‑class service to institutional investors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as a key point of contact for institutional clients across a wide range of requests
• Supporting client onboarding, documentation, and ongoing relationship management
• Preparing high‑quality investor communications, including reports, updates, and marketing materials
• Working closely with investment, operations, compliance, and legal teams to coordinate responses
• Helping drive fundraising and investor engagement efforts across global markets

Who We’re Looking For

• 2-6 years’ experience in a client services, investor relations, or similar function
• Background in hedge funds, asset management, or investment banking preferred
• Solid understanding of financial markets and investment products (systematic strategies a plus)
• Highly polished communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
• Strong tech skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems – Salesforce a bonus)
• Degree from a top university in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA a plus
