Metis Search are currently partnered with a Bulge-Bracket Investment bank who are looking to add individuals in to their FIG team in London.

This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct senior exposure, and the chance to take ownership on high-profile transactions from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the FIG space.
- Produce financial models and valuations, including DDM, LBO, and comparable approaches.
- Prepare high-quality client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials.
- Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
- Manage or conducting financial and commercial due diligence processes, working closely with external advisers to assess risks and value drivers.
- Working on strategic advisory and transaction execution & managing workstreams.
- Candidate Profile
- Approximately 2.5 - 7 years experience in M&A within FIG Investment banking
- Exposure across Banks, Asset and Wealth Management or Insurance
- Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
- Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
- Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable working in small teams.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
