Metis Search are currently partnered with an elite boutique investment bank looking to add to their Industrials team in London, across Associate to VP level. This is an opportunity to join a fast‑growing team, advising on buy‑side and sell‑side transactions globally across a variety of subsectors. The team operates within an agile & execution‑focused environment, offering significant responsibility, regular interaction with stakeholders, strong deal exposure, and a clear progression path. This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct senior exposure, and the chance to take ownership on high‑profile transactions from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support the execution of sell‑side and buy‑side M&A transactions within the Industrials sector, developing investment cases and financial analyses.
- Produce financial models and valuations, including DCF, LBO, and comparable approaches.
- Prepare high‑quality client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials.
- Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.
- Manage or conduct financial and commercial due diligence processes, working closely with external advisers to assess risks and value drivers.
- Work closely with senior bankers on strategic advisory and transaction execution & managing workstreams.
Candidate Profile
- Approximately 3 to 8 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance, with some prior exposure to Industrials topics.
- Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
- Demonstrated transaction experience with the ability to run workstreams independently.
- Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable working in small teams.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are beneficial but not essential.
