This job listing is open to candidates looking to work in our London or Manchester offices.
As a graduate flood risk manager at Metis, you should have:

WORKING AT METIS
As a graduate flood risk manager at Metis, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across all three arms of our business (Highways, Infrastructure and Water), and contribute to flood alleviation projects across the UK. You'll also receive exposure to all stages of our projects, from inception to completion. This means you can engage in business development, develop project management skills, and attend client meetings and site visits. We anticipate that you'll engage with numerous clients and organisations including the Environment Agency, local authorities and utility companies. Our team will mentor and support you through your professional development to help you meet your career objectives. This includes chartership through our formal training agreement with ICE, and active partnerships with CIWEM and CIHT.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
You should have completed, or be in the process of completing, a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or equivalent discipline. As minimum, Metis requires a final or expected grade of 2:1 (or an equivalent score). We will also consider postgraduate Masters degree students.
SALARY AND PACKAGE
Metis offers a competitive graduate salary and benefits package. This includes workplace pension (Royal London), monthly wellbeing budgets (Heka), and flexible working in our offices in Richmond-upon-Thames or Manchester. We also fund professional institution membership for our employees, and training that you require to meet your own professional development objectives. As an employee-owned business, Metis also offers a profit share scheme to all employees with at least 12 months' service. Under the terms of the Finance Act 2014, any profit share distributed to employees is exempt from Income Tax up to £3,600.
