Key Responsibilities

Metis is seeking an experienced CAD / Mechanical engineer on an interim basis to provide knowledge transfer to our design and production teams.

The key focus will be to mentor a junior CAD engineer, to expand their knowledge of mechanical engineering and best practice in an aerospace and Defence environment, particularly in the use of tools and analytical techniques such as CFD, thermal, stress / FEA and vibration.

As part of the role, the engineer would be expected to carry out hands-on design, fabrication, and manufacturing activities.
