Role Overview

The Performance Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving Métier's digital growth, with responsibility for the strategic management and performance of the brand's paid digital activity across Meta, Google and other relevant channels.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, and working closely with internal teams and external agency partners, the role will ensure digital activity is aligned with Métier's wider brand and commercial objectives, while delivering measurable growth across customer acquisition, traffic and revenue.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone with significant paid media experience who can operate confidently at both a strategic and platform level.

The Performance Marketing Manager will act as the internal performance marketing expert, directing agency partners, identifying opportunities and ensuring a high standard of execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Paid Media & Agency Management
  • Develop and oversee the full-funnel paid digital strategy across Meta, Google and other relevant performance channels, aligned with seasonal, brand and commercial objectives.
  • Lead the relationship with Métier's Digital Marketing Agency, setting strategic objectives, providing clear briefs and ensuring activity delivers against agreed KPIs.
  • Oversee and direct the agency's day-to-day management of paid media, ensuring campaigns are effectively structured, targeted, budgeted and optimised.
  • Bring strong in-platform expertise across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, with the ability to confidently review campaign setup, audience strategy, creative performance, bidding, budgets and optimisation.
  • Manage paid media budgets and ensure investment is strategically allocated across channels, audiences and campaigns.
  • Establish a rigorous testing programme across audiences, creative, messaging, campaign structures and channels.
  • Challenge agency recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency and scale.
  • Performance & Reporting
  • Own internal performance reporting across digital marketing channels, leveraging agency support for data compilation and analysis where appropriate.
  • Analyse paid and organic social performance to identify actionable insights and opportunities for future campaigns and content.
  • Monitor key performance metrics including customer acquisition, ROAS, CAC, conversion, traffic and revenue, translating data into clear recommendations for the Head of Brand and wider leadership team.
  • Ensure robust tracking, attribution and measurement across digital channels, working with agency and internal partners to address any gaps.
  • Continuously evaluate campaign performance and apply learnings to improve future activity.
  • Digital Growth & Channel Development
  • Identify and evaluate new channel, audience and growth opportunities, including emerging paid and social platforms.
  • Develop a clear testing framework for new channels, assessing opportunities against commercial potential and relevance to the Métier customer.
  • Stay informed on developments across Meta, Google and the wider digital landscape, identifying new formats, technologies and opportunities.
  • Partner with Brand, Creative and Ecommerce to ensure paid activity is supported by strong performance-led creative and an effective customer journey.
  • Search & Organic Visibility
  • Develop and oversee Métier's SEO strategy, working across teams to improve organic visibility and discoverability.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen Métier's visibility across search engines and emerging AI-driven search environments, including Generative Search Optimisation (GSO).
  • Ensure relevant digital assets, content and product pages are optimised to support organic and AI-driven discovery.
  • Monitor developments in search behaviour and platform algorithms and translate these into actionable opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely across teams to ensure digital activity is integrated into the wider marketing strategy.
  • Manage the internal sign-off process for digital marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment across relevant stakeholders while maintaining pace and clarity of execution.
  • Provide performance-led insight to inform broader brand, content and campaign planning.
  • Maintain visibility across CRM and Klaviyo activity, ensuring paid media and customer communications work cohesively across the wider customer journey.
  • Role Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in performance marketing / paid digital, ideally within luxury fashion, accessories, beauty, ecommerce or another premium consumer category.
  • Advanced, hands-on experience managing campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, with a strong understanding of campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, optimisation and measurement.
  • Proven experience strategically managing external digital marketing agencies, including setting objectives, briefing, reviewing strategy, challenging recommendations and holding partners accountable for performance.
  • Demonstrable experience managing significant paid media budgets and delivering measurable commercial results.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting performance data to drive strategic and commercial decisions.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics including ROAS, CAC, conversion, attribution, traffic and revenue.
  • Experience developing or overseeing SEO strategy; understanding of emerging AI-driven search and GSO is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury digital landscape and an instinctive feel for balancing brand equity with performance and commercial objectives.
  • Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and curious, with a strong appetite for testing, learning and identifying new opportunities.
  • Resourceful and hands-on, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment.
