We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Associate or Assistant Manager with a focus on the management of the personal tax compliance cycle for a leading UK firm. The role includes the provision of ad hoc advice related to the annual compliance cycle to a growing portfolio of individuals, trusts, partnerships, LLPs across a range of sectors, particularly landed estates, and rural businesses. You will be joining a team that delivers exceptional quality compliance and advisory services to a wide range of high-net-worth private clients, these include those with UK and offshore interests, property owners, business owners, partnerships and trusts.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio while reviewing the work of more junior tax staff
- Deliver and manage personal tax compliance services
- Organise and prioritise work to meet all deadlines
- Provide tailored advice including inheritance and capital gains tax planning, international tax aspects, land-based issues, and trust planning
- Communicate confidently with colleagues, partners and clients
Qualifications
- Experience in management of personal tax compliance projects and supervision of junior staff
- Strong experience in delivering and managing personal tax compliance services
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines
- Experience providing tailored tax advice across inheritance, capital gains, international tax, land-based issues, and trusts
