Our award-winning client is a global accountancy firm and one of the largest in the UK. They offer a full range of services to established and high-growth businesses in multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they now require an experienced Audit Manager to join their team in Scotland. As part of their Audit team, you’ll receive the support you need to reach your potential. From completing professional qualifications to developing new skills and exploring different learning opportunities, you’ll join a friendly and diverse team whose work really matters.
You’ll be comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks as well as confidently collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.
Responsibilities- Be responsible for dealing with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of audited entities.
- Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings.
- Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required.
- Ensure that the firm’s risk management and quality control procedures are always adhered to.
- Work as part of the management team with other Audit Managers within the business group.
- Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing and target audit entities as well as the internal business.

Qualifications- Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA).
- Confident leading audits of varying sizes.
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
- An interest in our clients, with the ability to confidently discuss business challenges and needs.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages.
- Project management experience.
- An interest in maintaining and developing your technical knowledge.
