Methods is currently looking for an Interim Commercial, Procurement and Delivery Lead. Must hold active security clearance.

Day rate: 600 Inside IR35

Contract length: 3 months

Hybrid: on site requirement in London once a week

Overview

We are seeking an experienced commercial and delivery professional to support a portfolio of digital and technology-related procurement and supplier management activity within a public sector environment. The role will focus on leading and supporting procurement exercises, contract renewals, supplier management and commercial assurance activity across digital and managed service contracts. This includes working closely with commercial, digital and operational stakeholders to develop requirements, manage suppliers and ensure delivery against agreed timelines and governance requirements. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating autonomously, managing competing priorities and providing clear advice and assurance to senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience delivering public sector procurement and commercial activity, ideally using government frameworks such as Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS).
  • Proven experience managing supplier selection, tendering and contract management processes.
  • Experience working within digital, ICT or technology-enabled service environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across commercial, technical and operational teams.
  • Experience developing requirements, procurement documentation and commercial artefacts.
  • Understanding of supplier management, commercial governance and value for money considerations.
  • Ability to manage commercial risks, contract changes and supplier issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain delivery momentum.

Desirable

  • Experience of delivery management, service management or service design.
  • Experience of supplier transition, contract exit or service migration activity.
  • CIPS / MCIPS, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience operating within central government or regulated public sector environments.
