Role Description: The Team are primarily responsible for maintaining some of the Legacy systems. You will be dealing with things hosted on AWS running on EC2 and ECS, dealing with AMIs as well as containers. You won’t be adding features often but will be expected to document, maintain, operate, and improve the existing running services with a high level of autonomy.
High level overview of the skills we need:
- Operations on a live production service
- AWS
- Linux
- Building, configuring, and maintaining AMI images with Packer and Ansible and container images with Docker
- Strong documentation
- Working as part of a mixed skillset team, in an agile or devops manner
- Creating and refining tickets, tracking work
