We are looking for talented iOS Developers to join a digital delivery team working on services that make a real difference to people across the UK.You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, product managers, delivery professionals and technical specialists to build, improve and maintain high-quality digital services used by millions of people. You will be responsible for developing robust, accessible and user-centred iOS applications, contributing to technical decisions and helping to maintain high standards of software engineering across the team. Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift. Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, QA professionals and other developers within an agile multidisciplinary team. Investigate and resolve technical issues, defects and performance problems. Consider security, accessibility, privacy, resilience and performance throughout the development lifecycle. Help establish and maintain development standards, patterns and best practices. RequirementsEssential technical skillsCandidates should have demonstrable professional experience with:iOS DevelopmentStrong commercial experience developing applications for iOS.Experience developing applications using modern iOS development patterns and practices. Experience with automated testing, including unit and UI testing. Experience using Git and modern software development workflows. Understanding of software engineering principles including clean code, modularity, maintainability and version control. Experience diagnosing and resolving application defects and performance issues. Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency in Swift. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes. Familiarity with mobile application security and data protection principles. Experience working with analytics, monitoring and application performance tools.
