Predominantly focused on the public-sector, Methods is now building a significant private sector client portfolio.This role will be instrumental in increasing our bidding capacity and supporting business growth.The successful postholder will have the opportunity to work on bids of varying size, complexity and value, which focus on a broad range of services, so a flexible approach is key.The Role: As a Senior Bid Manager, you’ll take ownership of bids of varying size, complexity, and value, working closely with Directors, Sales, SMEs, and external partners. You’ll play a key role in responding to tender opportunities through existing frameworks and open competitions, helping Methods win exciting projects and grow our impact.Bid management and executionOwn bids end-to-end: planning, kick-off, client clarifications, drafting, reviews, signoff, and submission.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality responses.Quality assures bid responses against client requirements and evaluation criteria.Support pitch creation alongside marketing and delivery teams.Run internal bid debriefs and support fellow Bid Managers as needed.Team management: Mentor a team of juniors through coaching, job shadowing and skills development in the UK.Act as a role model, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing team cultureIdentify training needs and support the professional growth of team members.RequirementsMandatory Skills & Experience:Proven track record managing and winning bidsHighly organised with the ability to manage a varied workloadStrong stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of the full sales cycle, procurement rules, and legislationTeam player with a willingness to support colleagues across the businessProficiency in MS OfficeDesirable Skills & Experience:Knowledge of digital technologies and digital transformationExperience with public sector frameworks and digital environmentsUnderstanding of commercial risk and contractual requirementsSalesforce experience (training provided).This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.Be part of exciting project work that is making a difference in society.Wellness 24/7 Confidential employee assistance programme.Social - Breakfast Tuesdays, Thirsty Thursdays and Pizza on the last Thursday of each month as well as commitment to charitable causes.Pension Salary Exchange Scheme with 4% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution.Life Assurance of 4 times base salary.Private Medical Insurance which is non-contributory (spouse and dependants included).Worldwide Travel Insurance which is non-contributory (spouse and dependants included).Job SummaryID: E3AD9592C4Department: Sales, SM - Bids & Strategic MarketingType: full time
