We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Go, with extensive experience in developing and maintaining robust backend systems. You will work closely with our front-end developers, data engineers, and product managers to build scalable and efficient applications that meet the needs of our users. Your role will involve designing APIs, managing databases, and ensuring the security and performance of our services.

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable back-end systems using Python and Go.
  • Manage and optimize databases, specifically PostgreSQL, NATS, Redis, and Min.
  • Leverage Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure KeyVault, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps for cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Monitor and improve system performance with Prometheus and Grafana.

Proven experience as a Senior Back-End Developer or similar role is required.

Languages: Python / Go / Java - the main code base is Go and we are transitioning the ingestion pipelines from Python and Azure Data Factory.

Messaging: NATS, Kafka, and Azure Service Bus (AMQP).

Databases: PostgreSQL - solid understanding of database management, including PostgreSQL, NATS, Redis, and Min. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based architecture.

  • On-site 5 days p/week (secret location).
