Overview
You will act as the interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, gathering and translating workstream requirements into technical specifications for third-party implementation.
While not responsible for hands-on delivery, you MUST have sufficient
Net App expertise to validate requirements, challenge solutions, and ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and manage
- Net App
SAN and Filers. Some are being replaced and some need upgrade to pass to managed service (main focus)
- Assess and remediate storage & backup obsolescence
- Execute and coordinate Ransomware Wave 1 & Wave 2 technical activities
- Supervise and coordinate vendors and technical inputs
- Contribute to and produce technical documentation
- Core skills

- Net App ,

Ansible
- Strong expertise in
Net App storage solutions, including storage replication technologies.
- Deep knowledge of the activities required to commission and decommission
Net App systems.
- Good understanding of
Veeam Backup , Net Backup & Replication.
- Good understanding of Automation with
- Ansible , Power Shell
- Good understanding of Operating Systems: RHEL, Rocky, Cent OS, Windows Server.
- This is not a hands-on technical implementation role.
- Strong autonomy.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in Space & Defence is a plus
- SC clearance is mandatory
- UKEO is mandatory
- Location
3 days mandatory onsite in Stevenage, otherwise Newport or Portsmouth.
