  • Maintain clear accountability for medication management, clinical governance, health & safety and infection prevention.
  • Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice and involvement in all aspects of their care.
  • Ensure zero tolerance of abuse or neglect and promote a strong safeguarding culture.
  • Manage the home’s financial performance, ensuring budgets are controlled and resources are used effectively.
  • Work closely with your Area Manager, Quality Business Partner and external professionals to drive continuous improvement.

About you

We are looking for a confident, values-led leader with strong clinical and management experience.

You will bring:

  • 1st level Registered Nurse qualification with a current NMC PIN.
  • A Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this.
  • 2-3 years' experience in home management or a senior leadership role within a care setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, including best practice in dementia care and complex needs.
  • Proven experience of managing budgets, staffing levels and performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • A flexible approach, including occasional travel, overnight stays or working shifts in exceptional circumstances.

You will be joining an organisation with strong values, a supportive leadership culture and a clear mission to help people live later life well. At MHA, Home Managers are empowered to lead with compassion, professionalism and integrity, while being fully supported to succeed.
