We're working with a fast-growing UK-based clean energy and infrastructure organisation who operate complex, real-world assets and are investing heavily in data to improve operational performance and decision-making. They're now looking for a Data Analyst to join their Data & Systems function, working closely with engineering and field teams to turn operational data into meaningful insight that improves performance, reliability, and efficiency.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll sit close to the business, not just building reports, but helping teams understand what the data is saying and how to act on it.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting and dashboards (Power BI & Excel), working with operational datasets, and partnering with engineering teams to translate real-world performance data into actionable insight. You'll also help improve data quality, reporting processes, and how performance metrics are used across the organisation.

Required skills & experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a Data Analyst / Reporting role
  • SQL experience for querying and analysing datasets
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy mindset
  • Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction, logistics, or similar operational environments
  • Exposure to SCADA or other operational/asset data systems
  • Understanding of maintenance, performance, or operational KPIs
  • Python for analysis or automation
