We're working with a fast-moving, product-led business looking for an Analytics Engineer to support their data team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role sitting between data engineering and analytics - building clean, reliable data models that power reporting and decision-making across the business.

You'll be working closely with BI and engineering teams, owning dbt models end-to-end and helping improve data quality, performance, and overall usability.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining dbt models for analytics and reporting
  • Developing well-structured data models (staging marts)
  • Working with stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable datasets
  • Improving data quality, testing, and documentation
  • Optimising performance across a modern cloud warehouse

What they're looking for:

  • Strong dbt + SQL experience in production environments
  • Experience working with BigQuery or Snowflake
  • Solid understanding of data modelling / warehousing concepts
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Contract: Outside IR35, 6-month contract, twice a week in central London, £500-£520 per day

Nice to have: exposure to BI tools (Tableau etc.), Python, or marketing data.
