Method Resourcing are proud to be partnering with one of the UK's most respected financial institutions, as they hire a senior data leader to own how data is safely put into the hands of the business. This is not a BAU data role. This is about setting the vision for data enablement across the organisation, owning the technology and governance around Microsoft Fabric Data, and ensuring data is used responsibly, securely, and with clear business value.
The role:
- You'll join the Technology & Transformation function and take ownership of the organisation's Data Labs as an internal data platform product.
- These labs went live recently and are already in use across the organisation, but now they need clear ownership, stronger governance, and a defined long-term direction.
- You'll work with senior stakeholders across finance, data science, AI engineering, and non-technical teams to ensure data can be accessed and used safely, while meeting regulatory and risk expectations.
- You'll line-manage two data professionals supporting around multiple active data labs, while focusing primarily on strategy, standards, adoption, and future roadmap.
- You won't be hands-on day to day, but you will need a strong technical background to guide decisions.
