Method Resourcing is supporting a leading technology and managed services organisation in the appointment of an experienced L3 Network Engineer to join a growing Network Services team supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys hands-on networking, troubleshooting complex incidents and working across a varied technology stack within a customer-focused environment.
The Role
Working as part of a highly skilled network operations team, you'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving critical customer networks, acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues and contributing to project delivery and service improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting complex LAN, WAN and WLAN issues
- Supporting SD-WAN, routing, switching and network security technologies
- Assisting with network deployments, upgrades and migrations
- Performing root cause analysis for major incidents
- Working closely with internal teams, customers and third-party vendors
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation
- Contributing to network transformation and modernisation projects
Key Skills & Experience:
- Cisco networking (routing, switching and wireless)
- Fortinet technologies
- SD-WAN
- WAN, LAN and VPN technologies
- BGP and OSPF
- Firewalls and network security
- Cisco ISE, ClearPass or other NAC solutions
- Network monitoring and observability platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP
- Fortinet NSE certifications
- SASE technologies such as Netskope, Prisma or similar
- Infoblox
- Network automation and scripting
- Experience working within ITIL environments
