Method Resourcing is thrilled to be partnering with a global leader in the travel industry who are hiring a Client-facing Solution Architect to join a high-performing architectural team. This is a brand-new role, created to support the launch of a major system used by some of the most recognisable names in the global payments space.
The role: We’re looking for a Client Solutions Architect who can bridge the gap between business ambition and technical delivery. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to uncover opportunities, shape solution direction, and design architectures that are both innovative and practical. This is a hands-on, client‑facing position where strong communication and empathy are just as important as engineering expertise. From early discovery sessions through prototyping and delivery support, you’ll help ensure our platforms deliver meaningful outcomes and long‑term value. We’re keen to speak with people who enjoy exploring complex problems, working collaboratively, and bringing diverse viewpoints into solution design.
In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to understand their objectives and translate those into clear, practical technical solutions. You’ll contribute to early discussions, helping shape the technical direction and assess feasibility, while also supporting commercial teams with well‑reasoned input during the proposal stage. You’ll develop prototypes and proofs of concept to validate ideas, reduce delivery risks, and give clients confidence in the approach being taken. Throughout delivery, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams to design integrations, APIs, and connections to external services, ensuring everything aligns with the wider architecture.
Responsibilities We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong software engineering experience (Senior Engineer level or equivalent).
- Ability to translate business needs into clear architectures and delivery paths.
- Hands‑on knowledge of APIs, cloud services, modern data patterns, and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), payments, order management, or customer‑focused platforms.
- Excellent communication skills - able to adapt explanations for any audience.
- Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a willingness to learn from others.
- Experience working in environments with legacy systems, regulatory considerations, or commercial constraints.
- Confidence facilitating collaborative problem‑solving and navigating complex client discussions.
- Work abroad for up to 8 weeks per year.
Benefits / Perks:
- Roughly 15% discretionary bonus
- 25 days holiday + increases with tenure
- Private medical insurance & dental insurance
- Life assurance (4x salary)
- Income protection plan (75% of base salary)
Working pattern: This role requires 2 days per week onsite in Central London, there may be client travel required but this can be taken off one of the office days.
