Method Resourcing are proud to be partnered with a globally recognised education organisation as they continue their journey towards a modern, product-led technology function. They're looking for a Product Manager to join a growing Product team and take ownership of key digital products that support a crucial domain across the business.
The role:
This is a broad Product Management role focused on owning products rather than projects. The organisation has undergone a significant transformation towards a product operating model, and Product Managers are now responsible for driving product strategy, roadmap decisions, stakeholder engagement, and value delivery across the full product lifecycle.
You'll be working alongside a team of other Product Managers and partnering closely with technology teams, product owners, business stakeholders, and third-party SaaS vendors.
A key part of the role is understanding complex products, challenging requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring products continue delivering value to users and the wider organisation. They're looking for someone who isn't afraid to ask difficult questions, challenge stakeholders constructively, and push products forward.
This could also suit a Business Analyst who has taken ownership of products, roadmaps, stakeholder management, and delivery decisions, and is looking to move more formally into Product Management.
What you'll be working on:
- Owning and evolving products within a key domain
- Defining product roadmaps and priorities
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand business and user needs
- Translating requirements into product features and outcomes
- Challenging assumptions and ensuring priorities align with business value
- Collaborating with engineering, UX, and delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Managing relationships with third-party SaaS vendors
- Supporting digital assessment and examination-related products
- Using customer feedback, data, and market insight to inform product decisions
- Balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives when making product decisions
What we're looking for:
- Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst with significant product ownership responsibility
- Experience working with SaaS products or third-party vendors
- Ability to challenge, influence, and drive discussions with senior stakeholders
- Experience delivering digital products within Agile environments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive personality with energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to balance competing priorities and make informed product decisions
- 25 Days annual leave, plus public holidays
- Life assurance 4x annual salary
- Flexi-time
- Excellent continuous professional development up to $5000!
- Flexible benefits allowance at 1.5% of your annual salary
- Health and wellness schemes
- Cash back opportunities available from a wide range of retailers
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Free on-site car parking
Working arrangements:
Hybrid working with 1 day per week in the Cardiff office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a genuinely product-led environment where they'll have ownership, influence, and the opportunity to shape products used by learners around the world.
