Method Resourcing have partnered with a global firm who have a brand-new opportunity where you will join a scaling AI & Automation team at a pivotal stage. The team is delivering flagship AI tools and automation projects with immediate impact across the business.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on key workstreams within a growing AI & Automation team, driving the delivery of high-impact projects while staying close to the technology through hands-on Python development and code reviews. You’ll bring your RPA expertise (ideally Automation Anywhere, though UiPath is also valued) to shape solutions, while also coaching and mentoring junior developers as they grow into their roles. Collaboration will be central, as you’ll work alongside Product, Architecture, and AI colleagues to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
Be part of a growing AI & Automation function shaping flagship products. Balance hands-on Python coding with architectural and leadership responsibilities. Play a central role in high-impact automation and AI projects. Grow into a broader leadership role as the team scales.
Responsibilities- Lead on key workstreams within a growing AI & Automation team and drive delivery of high-impact projects
- Hands-on Python development and code reviews to stay close to technology
- Apply RPA expertise (Automation Anywhere preferred; UiPath valued) to shape solutions
- Coach and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and AI colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Background in automation / RPA
- Ability to coach and guide junior developers, with some leadership exposure
- Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable balancing hands-on coding with higher-level design and strategy
This role requires 2/3 days onsite per week in the West Midlands area.
