About the Role
Our client, a globally recognised luxury retail organisation, is undergoing a significant transformation of its technology landscape, moving towards a modern, cloud-native, and hybrid infrastructure model. They are seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer/Platform Lead (Enterprise Services - Data Centre) to play a key role in shaping and delivering infrastructure strategy over the next 3-5 years. This will cover both their current on-prem data centres and driving their move to the cloud as part of their cloud strategy. They will take on the current IT strategy and drive it to delivery through the creation of the roadmaps, principles, and guiderails, while evolving the strategy alongside the Architecture teams. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership position, combining strategic ownership with deep technical involvement.
