Method Resourcing are delighted to partner with a prestigious international consultancy looking to hire a Power BI Developer to join their growing team as they continue to scale.
This is a multi-industry, continuous engagement hire. You will move between engagements across a wide range of industries - with a particularly strong and continuous pipeline of work for technology sector clients - designing, building and delivering Power BI solutions that give our clients real, actionable insight into their business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain end-to-end Power BI solutions — data models, DAX measures, and dashboards — for clients across industries.
- Lead requirements workshops with stakeholders, turning business questions into effective reporting solutions.
- Build efficient data models using best-practice dimensional modelling and performance techniques.
- Write clean, maintainable DAX and Power Query (M) for complex business logic.
- Administer the Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, row-level security, deployment pipelines).
- Juggle multiple client engagements, prioritising effectively while maintaining high delivery standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor, presenting insights and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales activity, helping scope Power BI and analytics engagements.
- Mentor junior team members on development standards and best practice.
- Keep up with Power BI and the wider Microsoft Fabric/analytics ecosystem, bringing new capabilities to clients.
About You:
- 5+ years in BI/analytics with strong, demonstrable Power BI skills (data modelling, DAX, Power Query, Service administration).
- Consulting/professional services background preferred — comfortable with clients, multiple engagements, and varied industries.
- Track record delivering BI solutions across sectors; tech sector experience a strong plus given ongoing demand there.
- Strong SQL and solid grasp of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Proactive and self-starting, comfortable with ambiguity in fast-moving client environments.
- Degree in a relevant field (computer science, data/business analytics, information systems) or equivalent experience.
