They're looking to appoint a Test Automation Engineer / (SDET) to join their Platform Engineering team, helping drive quality, automation and release confidence across a modern cloud-based platform powering AI-driven content and dynamic advertising solutions.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who is passionate about automation, quality engineering and modern software delivery.
You'll play a key role in reducing manual testing, building scalable test frameworks and introducing AI-assisted approaches to software testing.

- WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Designing, building and maintaining automated testing frameworks across the platform
- Developing end-to-end, regression, functional and non-functional test suites using Playwright and other modern tooling
- Integrating automated testing into Git Hub Actions CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting platform reliability through structured testing and release validation processes
- Reducing reliance on manual testing through automation and process improvement
- Working closely with software engineers, product teams and technical stakeholders to improve quality across the SDLC
- Introducing test management, reporting and defect tracking processes
- Investigating production issues and ensuring defects are prevented through future automated tests
- Driving continuous improvement across testing approaches, tools and engineering practices
- Exploring AI-assisted testing techniques to improve coverage, speed and reliability
- Building and refining AI-driven workflows for test generation, maintenance, execution and analysis
- Supporting TDD and quality-first engineering practices
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong commercial experience within a Test Automation, SDET or Quality Engineering role
- Expertise with Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks
- Experience building and scaling automated testing frameworks
- Strong understanding of functional, non-functional and end-to-end testing
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ideally Git Hub Actions
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience implementing structured defect management and quality processes
- An interest in AI, LLMs and emerging approaches to automation and software quality
- Ability to influence engineering best practices and champion quality throughout the development lifecycle
