Method Resourcing has partnered with a leading technology and consulting organisation delivering and supporting one of the UK's largest Oracle Cloud shared service environments. They are looking to add an Oracle ERP Functional Consultant to support a major government-facing programme. This role combines both project delivery and live service support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing continuous improvement with keeping critical finance systems running smoothly.

The role: You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing a live Oracle Fusion ERP environment used by a large and complex organisation. Working closely with finance stakeholders, product owners, and business users, you'll help shape system improvements while ensuring the ongoing stability of the platform. You'll own incidents and service requests through to resolution, support quarterly Oracle releases, and design configuration changes ranging from quick-win enhancements to larger delivery initiatives. This is a great opportunity to join a highly visible programme where you'll work directly with business stakeholders, influence solution design, and contribute to the evolution of a large-scale Oracle Cloud platform.

Skills and experience needed:

  • Strong Oracle Fusion ERP functional experience across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience supporting live Oracle Cloud environments with active business users
  • Good understanding of finance processes including period close, reconciliations, supplier payments, and audit requirements
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into clear functional specifications
  • Understanding of Oracle Risk Management Cloud or financial compliance tooling
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion security concepts including roles, data access, and segregation of duties
  • Working experience with OTBI and/or BI Publisher reporting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Contract: 1. Day rate: £500 Per Day OUTSIDE IR35 2. Contract: 6 months initially
