Method Recruitment Group are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join an established and growing business based in the Worcestershire area.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to run a busy warehouse properly. You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, lead the warehouse team and make sure stock, processes, safety and service levels are all where they need to be.

This isn’t just a role for someone to keep things ticking over. The business is looking for somebody who can take ownership, spot where things can be improved and bring some real structure and energy to the operation.

The role

  • Managing and supporting the warehouse team
  • Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations
  • Goods in, goods out and stock control
  • Maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained
  • Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency
  • Working closely with other departments across the business
  • Maintaining high standards across the warehouse

About you

We’re keen to speak with people who have previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Manager, Distribution Manager or in a similar operational role. You’ll need to be confident managing people, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for a busy operation.

Experience using warehouse, stock or ERP systems would be beneficial, alongside any experience with continuous improvement or lean processes. Most importantly, we’re looking for somebody who’s hands-on, approachable and knows how to get the best out of a team.
