About Meterbolic: Meterbolic is a preventative metabolic-health company focused on early insulin dynamics. We help individuals detect insulin resistance early, improve metabolic function, and take control of energy, weight, cognition, and long-term health. We are a first-principles, code-generation-led organisation. Our at-home metabolic tests measure fasting and post-challenge biomarkers and our digital double - MeO - converts results into personalised, coach-like guidance for real-world behaviour change. We use curated sources, LLM-readable specifications and a code-generation-centric pipeline to keep the human in the loop where it matters. Our data layer and specification layer are the upstream foundation that power MeO's interpretations, dashboards and insights.
To execute this vision we need a robust front-end layer - web, dashboards, visualisations - that communicates complex metabolic signals clearly and accessibly. We now need a Web Developer Intern who can turn Figma screens into live builds, help us structure our website, and also assist longer-term with front-end work around dashboards (for example Grafana-style visuals), React, and React Native. This is a shipping role - not theoretical.
What You'll Do:
- Take Figma pages and implement into live, working pages
- Build responsive front-end components (React)
- Over time - support dashboard builds for data visualisation and health metrics
- Assist with integration logic (Stripe / AWS where relevant)
- Work in weekly check-ins with founder and designer
- QA on your builds before pushing live
Required Skills:
- React
- Strong HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- Fast learner - able to understand our core health product and reflect it in UI
- Ability to ship, not procrastinate
- Communicates - not disappearing for 1-2 weeks
Ideally Also Experience With:
- React Native
- Grafana-style dashboards / data visualisation
- Stripe
- AWS (You do not need to be an expert - but familiarity matters.)
Why Join Meterbolic:
- Your work goes live into real product
- Remote and flexible
- Work directly with founder
- Exposure to real product cycles, not agency fluff
- Progression to paid role if you deliver
