Partner Operations, Technical Project Manager

Join to apply for the Partner Operations, Technical Project Manager role at Meter

Meter’s ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a utility by building a product that caters to stakeholders from Customers, ISPs, Partners, and Technicians. Every utility starts with an installation – and that’s where you come in. The Partner Operations team is the engine that powers Meter’s global deployment network, supporting Partners to deliver critical infrastructure globally. A Network is most vulnerable during deployment – and each stakeholder plays an essential role to ensure it’s built as performance and resilient critical infrastructure. Meter dedicates a team to each stakeholder, ensuring our product and work empowers stakeholders to do operationally and technically sound work at scale. In this role, you’ll drive projects, processes, and products for Meter’s Partners to create a first-of-its-kind, Partner-first networking product. From onboarding, to planning, and execution – you’ll build institutional knowledge with our partners that onboards and streamlines work to ensure every deployment is executed with precision and as a unified front. Your role is essential to driving consistent, efficient outcomes across hundreds of simultaneous installations driving growth for Partners and a seamless experience for Customers. The product needed to support this Partner-driven project work does not yet exist – we need your help to build it.

What success looks like

  • Increase Velocity: Deliver >90% of installs on time.
  • Boost Quality: Maintain rework rates of <5>
  • Delight Partners: Achieve partner satisfaction scores of >8/10. Partners should feel like our product and team is built just for them, and customers will love the outcome as a result.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Review the upcoming install pipeline, coordinate site readiness checks, spot and flag risks for upcoming deployments to avoid last-minute blockers.
  • Balance partner capacity, customer readiness, and internal dependencies to deliver a predictable project timeline.
  • Run bid processes, define scopes, validate quotes, and ensure cost-effective installs aligned to Meter standards.
  • Keep partners and internal teams aligned with clear, proactive updates.
  • Identify bottlenecks and create new playbooks and systems that scale.
  • Engage and develop partners, onboard new partners, lead calls and QBRs, and support partners while holding them accountable to performance goals.
  • Translate partner insights into process improvements and product enhancements.
  • Partner with Operations Engineering to pilot and scale the next high-impact product feature that enhances Partners work.

Where you can take this role

In year two, you could build out global partner performance dashboards, onboard and manage Meter’s most strategic partners, lead new-market partner program rollouts, or develop the next generation of partner tooling. Critical Network Infrastructure is built through a network of partners small and large. Your work will directly shape how Meter scales globally.

Who you are

You thrive on bringing order to complexity and turning messy workflows into repeatable systems that evolve into scalable products. You’ve managed field projects and logistics from bidding to scheduling, and successfully balanced accelerated timelines without losing sight of quality. You’re data-driven, spot bottlenecks quickly, and build solutions that scale. You know how to build relationships, onboard and coach partners, and keep work moving even under pressure. Most importantly, you communicate clearly, align stakeholders, and are energized by fast-changing, high-velocity environments.
