Are you an experienced Commercial or Industrial Electrician? The main purpose of this role is to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding duties across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring electrical systems and infrastructure are operating safely, efficiently and in accordance with current regulations. This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday – Friday, flexibility for overtime is required.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out installations, maintenance, repairs and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Conduct inspection, testing and certification works in accordance with BS 7671 regulations
  • Complete EICs, EICRs and Minor Works Certificates to maintain compliance and accurate records
  • Diagnose electrical faults across distribution systems, control panels and EV charging equipment, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Work closely with site managers, engineers and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Participate in the company’s On Call Rota, approximately 3–4 weeks per year
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, providing reports and updates on completed works and identified issues
  • Document activities, including service reports, testing certification, repair logs and customer communication, to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability

The ideal candidate has experience in:

  • Previous experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician
  • ECS Gold Card (or currently working towards obtaining one within the next few months)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) – Inspection & Testing
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and testing experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
