The Role of a Client Account Manager
Are you an experienced Client Account Manager with a background in any Mechanical/Electrical/FM or Service Contract industry? Are you familiar with managing a large portfolio of commercial clients ensuring all works are completed efficiently? Aylesford Electrical Contractors are an electrical company based in Kent on their search for a Client Account Manager to join their PPM Services team. The main purpose of this role is to build and maintain excellent, long‑lasting customer relationships while ensuring all works are carried out effectively and to the highest of performance to encourage repeat business.
Key Responsibilities of a Client Account Manager
- Attend customer meetings and manage external client relationships.
- Generate meetings with existing customers and new contacts in our existing client base.
- Build and maintain excellent, long‑lasting customer relationships.
- Ensure quotes are sent in a timely manner.
- Following through instructed works to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Champion high performance and quality across the PPM team.
- Maintain and update account plans.
- Attend internal meetings.
- Present proposals to customers.

- Raise clients’ business concerns and needs to the company’s management.
- Continually look for ways to enhance the customer experience.

The Person
The ideal Client Account Manager would come from an Electrical or Mechanical background. Proven success with managing an existing portfolio of clients and bringing new contacts on board to support business growth. Experience within account management and customer retention. Proficient in sales support and service delivery. Familiar with managing FM and commercial clients. Possession of a full UK license is advantageous. The Client Account Manager must possess excellent organisation and communication skills as well as have the ability to build upon relationships.
